Those who want to burn fat build muscle have a great many types of workout programs that they can to such a goal. This is not to say that random picking and choosing from a variety of workout programs will automatically take you to fantastic results. You will need a game plan of action designed to lead to your burn fat gain muscle goals. One such way this can be achieved would be through mixing cardio, weight training,and body weight exercises as a means of having a lean and muscular body. And no, the ability to achieve such a goal is no where near as tough as you may think. Here is how it can be done:
Cardio almost always refers to higher impact aerobic workouts that gets the heart rate really going so that you can effectively burn fat build muscle. Okay, you might be wondering about the building muscle component. Is not cardio a means solely of burning fat? Actually, when you do cardio exercises you will also be working a lot of muscles. This will lead to developing the muscular look that so many athletes show off. Boxers have strong arms and shoulders for a reason. They are inside the ropes working out hard and even without weightlifting added to the mix, they will burn fat gain muscle.
On the flipside, when you lift weights you will burn fat build muscle. How so? Well, when your muscles get bigger they will end up increasing your metabolism. Lean muscle mass creates a revved up metabolism so when you pack on mass from your heavy lifting, you are actually boosting your fat burning furnance as well.
Then, there are also weight lifting workouts that can be performed that will burn a lot of calories in the gym. For example, when you use light dumb bells with higher reps you will be burning more calories than you would with heavier weights. Simply put, this is the result of the increased movement thanks to the many more reps you perform. This will not burn as many calories as an aerobics session but it is still a great way to burn fat build muscle.
Bodyweight exercises can help you achieve the same goals that you would in both a cardio workout and a weightlifting one. Exercises such as pushups, situps, squats, and pullups will all have an impact on your ability to burn fat build muscle. You may have to perform a lot of reps to see real results but this can definitely be achieved if you stay with it long enough.
Consistency is a major component to success as well. When you are consistent with your workouts, you will discover the ability to burn fat gain muscle is easier than you ever thought possible.
