The wait for the baby’s arrival can seem endless so enjoy it by having some fun while decorating the nursery. The crib is the most important thing in the nursery, and you can base your room decor on your choice of crib bedding. Of course safety is the primary concern, but closely following that is the need for your baby to feel cozy and snug. It is now recommended by many doctors to minimize or eliminate loose items in the crib because of SIDS risk. A newborn can suffocate if he/she shifts in the crib in a way which blocks their normal breathing pattern.

A sleep sack is a warm blanket that the baby wears like clothing, and is secured to the body to prevent risk of suffocation. It’s extremely important that crib sheets fit properly to ensure they are not easily pulled off the mattress by the baby.

An important desire for baby bedding is that it be washable and comfortable against baby’s skin, and always buy backup baby bedding. You need to be changing the bedding for your nursery and it’s a must to choose the right one and have two sets at hand.
