Within a few weeks I’m traveling to lovely Hawaii for a guilt-free vacation of fun in the sunny state. But living within a land-locked area of the continental United States, I am really much more accustomed to snow-filled days, even while in the spring time.

I have many items to check off before I feel truly prepared for my vacation, some items more prudent than others. But the one I am blogging about in this piece affects the pale tone of my skin.

I do know that it is a myth how establishing a foundation tan might help you preclude burning, but that doesn’t halt me from feeling shy and self-conscious about being so pale white and tanless in an state where everybody is accustomed to dressing in little to nothing while dallying in the sun.
