Industrial rock music has nearly always been darker, more negative, but this has been evolving. There is this really sick recovery rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren the other day that has a new angle on alternative rock. His project is a mix of industrial rock and the concept of beating addiction.

There are some song previews on his URL at www.inspiringrock.com. It looks like the songs are provisional while finishing final recordings. They sound professional to me but that’s just me. It is cool to find more rock like this written directly for addiction recovery in a more enjoyable way from a person that has had the experience and is making an impact for others. Plus It’s nice to see this type of music stemming from the industrial genre which is normally more negative in nature.

By the way, he has free songs you can get from his url and more in his members area which is all no charge. I also saw discounts, wallpaper, and other stuff. It will be exciting to hear the album once it is available. That’s my two cents!
